How will my order be sent?

We use PBT, NZ Post, Pass the Parcel and Fastways for all deliveries.

Deliveries sent by PBT and Past the Parcel and Fastways are fully tracked and insured.

How much does delivery cost?

Shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of the item, and are displayed on all listings.

Please note that the courier charges extra for delivery to a rural address. See our Rural Delivery page for more information.

Where can I get my order delivered?

Delivery can be to any New Zealand address, including PO Boxes.

Please ask for a quote before buying if you want delivery to Australia. Delivery cannot be made outside New Zealand or Australia.

When will my order be despatched?

We despatch orders every day Monday to Friday except holidays.

We aim to send your order the same working day if we receive payment before the courier’s daily collection. If payment is received after the courier has collected it will be despatched the following working day.

How do I track my delivery?

You will be sent a confirmation email by 6pm on the day of despatch.

This email will include your tracking number and details of how to track your order online.

When will I receive my order?

The courier aims to deliver to most non-rural addresses the next working day after despatch, but please allow up to 2 working days for standard size orders.

Deliveries to rural addresses and larger parcels going to the South Island may take longer.

Note that there are no deliveries at weekends and public holidays, and they do not count as a working day.

Delivery times are not guaranteed, and may be affected by delays outside our control.

What if I’m out when my order arrives?

Your order will be left in a safe place (e.g. a mail box) if possible.

Otherwise, a card will be left inviting you to arrange re-delivery or collection.

You will need to contact the delivery agent within 7 days to make appropriate arrangements.


  • Can you send by standard post instead of courier?

Sorry, we do not use standard post.

We specialise in providing the fastest and safest tracked delivery, and we send most items by courier in order to achieve this. It ensures that your delivery is tracked at each major stage of the journey, so you can see how your delivery is progressing.

  • Can I pick up my order instead of delivery?

In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we operate via delivery only. We do not have staff available to organise and manage pick-ups.

  • Can you send by standard post “at the buyer’s risk”?

As a professional retailer, we take full responsibility for your order until it is delivered to you.

In legal terms, there is no such thing as “buyer’s risk” when buying from a business. We are legally responsible for your delivery, and any attempt to opt out of this responsibility would be a breach of the Consumer Guarantees Act.

  • Can you use a different courier?

We have a contract in place for delivery, so we do not use any other courier or delivery service.

  • Can I send you my own postage bag?

We cannot accept any type of postage or courier bag.

We send out large quantities of orders every day, and our shipping process is as automated as possible in order to keep our prices well below normal high street prices. It is not viable for us to make bespoke shipping arrangements for individual orders.
